That is unique I think for a commentary. I am a firm believer in checking things out and resources are clearly marked should you wish to do so. Anyone can write a good book but when it comes to the scriptures I look for a higher standard.

This commentary on The Gospel of John fit the bill for me/5(9). Going thru a home Bible Study group with others from my church. This commentary is indispensable to say the least.

It is volume 4 of a 12 volume set (New Testament Commentary by William Hendriksen and Simon J. Kistemaker, and published by Baker Book House) If I had to limit my library just a few sets, this would be number one/5. That is unique I think for a commentary.
